Water main break closes road fronting Hale Koa

Traffic piled up as police closed a section of Kalia Road due to a water main break just after 4:30 this afternoon.
The road between the Hale Koa hotel and Ala Moana Boulevard was completely closed at 5 p.m.

Sacramento Street in the Pacific Heights area of SFO had a sewer pipe let go causing a huge sinkhole. The City is in the process of fixing their crumbling pipes. Honolulu’s pipes are in similar condition. The City said they will or have raised the rate to pay for it. Honolulu, get the KY ready.
..and they want to develop the ag land between Mililani and Waipio with 3500 more homes–Koa Ridge? With a crumbling infrastructure? What kind of show they people putting on here? Oahu, you’re letting these developer poltroons ruin your Island…wake the hell up!
