Waikiki man arrested in thefts from cars

A 19-year-old Waikiki man was arrested Wednesday for a series of thefts from cars parked at a Waikiki apartment building earlier this month.

The suspect is believed to have broken into six cars on March 5.

He was released late Wednesday afternoon while police continue to investigate the case.

    It is so annoying that these repeat offenses do this over and over. I think we should have a 3 strike law, that they get shipped to the Mainland after 3 offenses!
