Teen escapee facing additional charges after capture
A 16-year-old boy is back in custody at the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility in Kailua after a brief escape Tuesday during which he attempted to break into a nearby home.
The youth was reported missing from the facility at 42-470 Kalanianaole Highway just before 4:30 p.m.
He was recaptured two hours later and, besides facing a charge of escape, the youth can be charged with first-degree attempted burglary.

Put him in the big pen.
A bad choice made, breaking into a residence. If he continue to make the wrong choices time and again his future certainly looks dim. Hope his parents can help him make the right decision now.
agree…but perhaps someone can be found to be blamed for his choices?
