Police open attempted murder investigation after assault in Haleiwa
Police opened a second-degree attempted murder investigation Friday night after a 19-year-old man was assaulted in Haleiwa.
The unknown suspect assaulted the teen with a dangerous instrument and fled the scene about 11:10 p.m., police said. The teen sustained head injuries.
No one was arrested.
