Maui woman charged with second-degree murder in stabbing
A 32-year-old Maui woman was charged today with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of a man.
Tallish Nelson, of Wailuku, was being held on $1 million bail in the alleged killing of a 57-year-old man.
Police officers responded to call of the stabbing at about 11:21 p.m. Sunday at a Wailuku residence.
The man, David Kecxon, of Wailuku, was treated by medics and transported in critical condition to Maui Memorial Medical Center, where he later died, police said.
Police said Nelson fled the scene and was apprehended on Lower Main Street.
