Police arrested two suspects who allegedly stole a bag in Kailua and then dragged the victim as they drove away when he tried to get the bag back.

It happened at about 10:40 a.m. Thursday.

Officers arrested an 18-year-old Waianae woman and 44-year-old homeless man on suspicion of second-degree robbery. 

Police said one of suspects took a bag belonging to a 29-year-old man and then jumped into a car driven by an accomplice. The victim chased the suspect, tried to retrieve his bag and was dragged by the car.

Police released the suspects late Thursday morning, pending further investigation.
