Missing woman found on Hawaii island, taken to hospital
Hawaii County police Tuesday found a 26-year-old visiting Chicago woman who failed to return from a hike on Saturday.
Police said Britney Pieta had gone hiking from a home in Hawaiian Acres. She was found at about 5 p.m. Tuesday in a brush area in Hawaiian Acres.
She was taken to Hilo Medical Center for medical treatment, police said in a news release.
