Girl, 5, in serious condition after Waikiki near-drowning
Ocean Safety Division lifeguards found a 5-year-old girl unresponsive Thursday afternoon in waters off Waikiki’s Kuhio Beach area.
Emergency Medical Services paramedics treated and transported the girl, in serious condition, to an area hospital.
EMS reported the incident occurred at about 4:25 p.m. near 2501 Kalakaua Avenue and Ocean Safety lifeguard tower 2C.
