Boy, 15, charged in robbery of Waialae area business
Police arrested a 15-year-old boy, one of five male suspects in a May 30 robbery in the Waialae area.
Police said four males left a store about 11:30 p.m. May 30 without paying for items, while the fifth one waited outside.
Police said store employees tried to detain them and the fifth one displayed a weapon. Police said the two victims were a 37-year-old man and a woman, 22.
Police learned the identity of the 15-year-old, found and arrested him Tuesday morning on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
Prosecutors charged him Tuesday afternoon with first-degree robbery.
