Man arrested in attempted carjacking in McCully
Police arrested a 35-year-old Makaha man who allegedly attempted to carjack another man in McCully on Tuesday morning.
Police said a 57-year-old man was in his car when the suspect tried to take the man’s car at 4:30 a.m.
The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the scene on foot and was caught nearby, police said.
Police arrested him on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
