Teen suspect in Pearlridge robbery turns self in to police
A 16-year-old boy turned himself in on Sunday for the knife-point robbery of a Pearlridge business last week.
Police said two masked males wearing hooded jackets entered the business at about 10 p.m. Thursday and used a knife to rob an employee of an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
Both suspects fled, but patrol officers found a 17-year-old boy nearby and arrested him for investigation of first-degree robbery.
The second suspect remained at large until he turned himself in to patrol officers.
Police said the boy was sent to a detention home.
