A former Honolulu soldier was charged with aggravated sexual abuse of a child stemming from 2010 and will be brought back to Hawaii from New Mexico to face the charge, the FBI said.

FBI agents in Dexter, N.M., on Wednesday arrested Chason Colt Morgan, 29, as a result of a criminal complaint issued in U.S. District Court in Hono-lulu, Special Agent Tom Simon said.

According to an agent’s affidavit in support of the complaint, the alleged abuse of a 7-year-old girl occurred in 2010 at a home on Schofield Barracks.
