About 400 Hawaiian Telcom customers still without service
Hawaiian Telcom said Thursday that some 400 customers remained without service statewide as a result of a storm that struck Saturday.
Winds gusting up to 60 mph on at least a couple of islands brought tree branches down on utility lines, causing outages.
Hawaiian Telcom spokesperson Ann Nishida Fry said the company did not have an island-by-island breakdown of the number of customers without service.
