Moiliili man charged in alleged threat with fake gun

Prosecutors have charged a 54-year-old Moiliili man who allegedly threatening a 46-year-old man with a simulated firearm Wednesday in Honolulu.

Police said the two men were arguing when the older man threatened the younger man at 6:10 p.m.

Responding officers found the suspect at the scene and arrested him a short time later at his Date Street home on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

Benjamin Ventura was charged Thursday with first-degree terroristic threatening, a Class C felony.

His bail was set at $15,000.
