Swearing-in of Hawaii County Council will be held Monday
Officials on Hawaii island will hold inaugural ceremonies for incoming members of the Hawaii County Council.
The ceremonies will be held Monday at the Afook-Chi-nen Civic Auditorium in Hilo.
The Honorable Judge Ronald Ibarra will administer the oath of office to new Council members.
Mayor Billy Kenoi will be the keynote speaker, and Sherry Bracken of Hawaii Public Radio will be the emcee.
The public is invited to attend the event, which starts at noon.
