Other locations include Beretania Street by the state Capitol; at Kahala Mall; the Marine Corps Exchange; Pearl City Police Station parking lot; Pearl Harbor Navy Exchange’s main lobby; Schofield Barracks Post Exchange near the flower shop; Town Center of Mililani on the north end; Windward Mall near the food court entrance; the Ponahawai Medical Complex parking lot on Hawaii island; and the parking lots of the police stations in Kona, on Kauai and Maui.
According to the DEA, unused and expired medications can lose their effectiveness or lead to accidental poisonings. Medications should be not be flushed down a toilet or placed in a drain because they could enter the water supply or harm aquatic life.
