The Medical Examiner’s office has identified 56-year-old man who died after the truck he was driving crashed into wall on Middle street as Robert Salis.

Salis was taken to the hospital in extremely critical condition Tuesday following the crash at about 4:45 a.m. on Middle street near the Kalihi Transit Center, according to a city Emergency Medical Services report.

Police said the man died at the Queen’s Medical Center.

An autopsy will be conducted Wednesday to determine cause of death.
