Firefighters extinguish small fire in Akepo Lane apartment
Firefighters quickly extinguished a small apartment fire Thursday night on Akepo Lane.
A 25-year-old man suffered smoke inhalation, the Fire Department spokesman said.
Emergency Medical Services said he declined evaluation.
The building at 955 Akepo Lane was evacuated for the second-story unit fire. The time of alarm was 8:37 p.m., the first unit arrived at 8:42 p.m., and the blaze was extinguished at 8:50 p.m.
