Police have charged a 43-year-old Makiki woman Saturday for allegedly threatening and assaulting a 29-year-old woman.

According to police, Barbara Briscoe threatened the younger woman with a dangerous instrument during an argument at their shared residence on Friday. The victim sustained minor injuries in the altercation.

Briscoe was charged Saturday with first-degree terroristic threatening. Her bail was set at $15,000.

UPDATE: The court dismissed the terroristic threatening charge against Barbara Briscoe in May 2014 after the complaining witness withdrew her complaint. No assault charge was ever filed.
