No threat posed by suspicious package at Manoa school
Police issued an all-clear notice Tuesday afternoon after investigating a suspicious package at Noelani Elementary School in Manoa.
The school was closed after reporting the suspicious package just after noon Tuesday.
The police bomb squad was dispatched and found nothing of a threatening nature in the package, police said.
At 1:25 p.m., parents were advised to pick up their children at Manoa Valley District Park pool area. School regularly closes at 2:15 p.m.
Police got the call at 12:30 p.m.

The emergency comes one day after school was let out early after a chemical odor was reported by several students on Monday at the Woodlawn drive campus. There are 461 students enrolled in the elementary school.
