Japanese tourist dies in apparent drowning near Kaneohe Sandbar
A 65-year-old visitor from Japan died after being pulled from waters near the Kaneohe Sandbar on Saturday.
The man, who was part of an organized snorkeling group, was transported by Emergency Medical Services to an area hospital, where he later died.
The incident was reported at 1:59 p.m.
