Fire crews aid injured hiker near top of Kuliouou Ridge Trail
Firefighters rescued a woman in her 20s on the Kuliouou Ridge Trail Saturday afternoon.
Fire Capt. Terry Seelig said the woman was hiking near the summit when she slipped and twisted her ankle.
The fire department received the call at about 3:20 p.m.
A fire helicopter flew her to a neighborhood park at 4:30 p.m. She was treated for the minor injury.
