Christ Church, Uniting Disciples & Presbyterians, 1300 Kailua Road, 262-6911. A “Come as Your Favorite Nativity Character” service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday. Participants will act out a few scenes of the Christmas story. For those who don’t want to dress up, there are other fun ways in which to take part. The Christmas Eve Service is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church, 721 N. King St., 845-2112. The Episcopal Diocese of Hawaii’s Pacific Islander Ministry will be presenting a Polynesian/Micronesian Christmas concert titled “The Voice of the Pacific,” 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. The concert will feature the youth of St. Elizabeth’s and eight other interfaith churches from the Kalihi-Palama area. For additional information, contact Fane Lino at 548-1719.
St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 93 N. Kainalu Drive, 262-8176. A Christmas Eve organ concert featuring Leigh Johansen will be held at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. A candlelight service will follow at 10 p.m. with a special message, music and Communion.
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 375-1764. A “Candlelight Service In Waikiki” to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with the singing of carols will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel, second-floor Queens Room, at 150 Kapahulu Ave. Visit www.princeofpeacewaikiki.com.
Holy Nativity Church, 5286 Kalanianaole Highway, 373-2131. A Christmas Eve Eucharist and children’s pageant is slated for 5 p.m. Tuesday. It will be followed by a live Nativity scene with animals from Colton Farms in Waimanalo, carols and candle-lighting on the courtyard. Another event, set for 9 p.m. Tuesday will feature more carols, hymns and a festive holy Eucharist with lighting of candles.
On Wednesday a Christmas Day Eucharist service with hymn singing is set for 9:30 a.m.

Cathedral of St. Andrew, 229 Queen Emma Square, 524-2822, ext. 217. All are invited to attend the annual Christmas Festival of Lessons and Carols, 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The service includes Bible stories interspersed with classic carols, featuring the Cathedral Choir and its grand pipe organ. Join in singing traditional favorites. The service is modeled on the Christmas tradition of King’s College in Cambridge, England. Admission and parking are free.
