Hawaii island police seek 3 men as ‘most wanted’
A 23-year-old man has been listed as among "Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted."
Boaz David Johnson is wanted in a murder investigation involving the strangulation of his girlfriend, Brittany-Jane Royal, whose body was found in the ocean off Kalapana on May 28.
Johnson is described as Caucasian, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds in weight, with a slim build and fair complexion.
He has a tattoo of the upper body of a horse near the right side of his abdomen and was last seen unshaven and with medium-length brown hair, police said.
Another man, Thomas J. Desimone, 43, is wanted for questioning about two thefts and a burglary in Puna.
He’s described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 170 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair, a mustache, and goatee.

Hawaii County also police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a Hilo robbery.
The 43-year-old female victim said she was walking with a bicycle on Mililani Street between Piilani Street and Hualani Street when a man threatened her and demanded money.
The suspect, who fled with cash, is described as a local male between 5 feet 10 inches and 5 feet 11 inches in height, with a muscular build, dark brown eyes, very short black hair and a tan complexion.
Police said the suspect was wearing surf shorts and a dirty blue tank top.
