Police arrest suspect in killing of man, 83, in Chinatown
Police today arrested an 18-year-old man suspected of killing an 83-year-old Kalihi man who was found unconscious in Chinatown with head injuries Wednesday.
Mamerto “Eddie” Semana died Thursday.
The Medical Examiner’s Office said Semana died from blunt force injuries to his head.
At 1:30 p.m. today, police arrested the 18-year-old downtown Honolulu man at his home on suspicion of second-degree murder.
