A 25-year-old Kalama Valley man was charged Tuesday with allegedly assaulting a 19-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman seated in a parked vehicle in Palolo.

Prosecutors charged Jordan Jovero with first-degree unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

His bail was set at $75,000.

Police said Jovero had allegedly confronted and physically assaulted the pair 2:30 a.m. Oct. 11 during a domestic dispute.

Police later located Jovero and arrested him Monday on suspicion of the car break-in, criminal property damage, abuse of a household member and interference in reporting an emergency.
