Damaged 80-year-old tree coming down at Dept. of Agriculture
A large 80-year-old earpod tree will be removed from the grounds of the Department of Agriculture near Keeaumoku and South King streets starting Wednesday.
The tree has extensive internal decay and poses a potential hazard to the public, the Department of Agriculture reported.
The process will take about a week and will cause lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the area around Keeaumoku, South King and Young streets beginning Wednesday through Nov. 26.
