Man kidnapped, assaulted, left unconscious on downtown sidewalk
Police said two men allegedly kidnapped a 52-year-old man Monday night, assaulted him, leaving him unconscious on a downtown sidewalk.
Police said the man was pulled into a van 8 p.m. Monday, and assaulted by two unknown men. He awoke 8 a.m. Tuesday on the sidewalk, police said.
The man noticed his injuries to his neck Wednesday and reported the incident to police.
Police have opened a second-degree attempted murder case.
No arrests have been made.
