Police say passenger tried to choke driver during cab ride
A passenger allegedly choking a taxi cab driver during a ride in the Pearl City area Sunday morning.
Police said the suspect, a 26-year-old man, allegedly choked the driver from the back seat. The driver was able to pull over to a shoulder lane and call police. The suspect got out of the taxi and ran away, but officers located and arrested him, police said.
