Man arrested in road rage incident in Honolulu
Police arrested a 39-year-old man Monday afternoon after he allegedly injured two people during a road rage incident in Honolulu.
According to police, the suspect was involved in a traffic incident with two people in another car. The suspect allegedly reached into the other car and struck the driver, a 31-year-old man, causing bodily injury. The passenger in the car, a 30-year-old woman, was also injured when she attempted to stop the suspect from leaving and was shoved to the ground.
Police located and arrested the suspect on suspicion of unauthorized entry into a motorized vehicle and third-degree assault. During a subsequent search, the suspect was found to be in possession of a glass pipe, leading to investigation of possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.
