Emeralds take center stage
Three million dollars in Colombian emeralds will be shown in an exhibition and sale at Opal Fields, 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Friday.
The fluorescent emeralds are from the Muzo mines in the Colombian Andes, known for the quality of their gemstones. Prices are $100 to $300,000.

Fighting Eel celebrates store
Fighting Eel is hosting a launch party and fashion show at The Republik from 6:30 to 10 p.m. today, in advance of the opening of its Waikiki store at Royal Hawaiian Center next month.
Food and drinks will be served, with the show at 8 p.m. The first 50 people will score a limited-edition Fighting Eel tee.

The online Beach Wahine boutique is marking its first anniversary with a sales event from Saturday through June 8, featuring discounts and giveaways.

See new Roberto Coin collection
Couture Jeweller is hosting a fine-jewelry trunk show from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, welcoming Peter Webster, co-owner of Roberto Coin USA, and the company’s vice president, Suzanne Napoleon.
They will be showing Roberto Coin’s new summer collection, inspired by nature as interpreted by the Italian designer.
