6 charged in drug raid on Kailua-Kona home
Hawaii County police executed a search warrant Monday, arrested eight residents of a Kailua-Kona home on suspicion of promoting drugs and recovered methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, numerous meth paraphernalia and several rounds of ammunition.
Vice and community policing officers and a drug nuisance abatement unit with the Department of the Attorney General worked together in the raid.
Police released two suspects, ages 18 and 24, pending further investigation.
Prosecutors charged:
>> Joseph Garcia-Hine, 30, with two counts of promoting dangerous drugs, one count of possessing drug parapernalia and two counts of ownership or possession of a prohibited drug, as well as two arrest warrants. His bail was set at $85,000.
>> Jackie Holder, 40, and Anthony McPherson, 26, were charged with one count each of promoting dangeous drugs and possessing drug paraphernalia. Their bail was set at $4,000.

>> John Jones, 30, and Kahulaaona Kalili-Jones, were charged with two counts of promoting dangerous drugs and one count each of promting detrimental drugs and possessing drug paraphernalia. Their bail was set at $6,250.
>> Brandon Post, 26, was charged with one count of promoting detrimental drugs. His bail was set at $250.
