Suspect in sex assault case near KCC being sought
The public’s help is being sought by Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers locating a man wanted in a sexual assault case that occurred near the Kapiolani Community College campus in Kaimuki at 7:50 a.m. on Feb. 13.
The incident involved a juvenile female who was walking on Alohea Avenue near Makapuu Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male. The man touched her inappropriately and asked her to follow him, police said. When she refused, the man fled on foot toward Makapuu Avenue, police said.
The man is described as in his 20s, between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, with a thin build, short black hair and black eyes. He was wearing a black T-shirt, long black denim pants and a green jacket, and was carrying two large duffle bags.
