No tsunami threat to Hawaii from earthquake near Santa Cruz isles
A magnitude-6.7 earthquake near the Santa Cruz Islands today does not pose a tsunami threat to Hawaii, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
The temblor struck at 12:16 p.m. at a depth of 21.3 miles, just off the western coast of Nendo Island.
