HPD vehicle hits man in Aala Park
A man was hospitalized in serious condition after being struck by a police vehicle at Aala Park about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Department of Emergency Services personnel described the man as in his 30s, and said he was hit in the middle of the park.
Investigators from the Honolulu Police Department’s Traffic Division are at the scene, a police spokeswoman said.
The man was taken to The Queen’s Medical Center, the HPD spokeswoman said.
