Crimestoppers releases sketch of Waikiki robbery, assault suspect
Police have released a sketch of a man who robbed and tried to sexually assault a woman on Waikiki Beach early this morning.
The victim was on the beach at 1:45 a.m. near Kalakaua and Kapahulu avenues when she was shoved into the sand and held down by an unknown male. The male removed items from her pocket and attempted to remove her clothing. The woman struggled, yelled for help, and was assisted by two men. The suspect fled on foot.
Police are seeking the witnesses who assisted the victim.
