Alaska Airlines today began ticket sales for daily flights between Lihue, Kauai and San Diego that will commence June 7.

The airline also announced today that it will begin daily service between San Diego and Boston starting March 29.

“With the addition of these two new routes, Alaska Airlines will offer 160 flights a week from San Diego to a dozen cities by next summer,” said Joe Sprague, vice president of marketing, in a statement.

The San Diego to Kauai flights will be daily from June 7 through Aug. 24 and will then shift to a four-days-a-week schedule. Introductory fares start at $209.

Alaska Air also flies daily from San Diego to Oahu and Maui.
