Farrington Highway briefly closed after car knocks down power pole
A car knocked down a power pole in west Oahu, briefly shutting down Farrington Highway in Waianae.
Honolulu police say the crash occurred just before 2 a.m. today and the power pole was blocking the highway at Lahilahi Street.
Despite fears the highway may be shut down for some time, a police dispatcher says the pole was moved about 15 minutes later to the side of the road and Farrington Highway is now open.
