Police investigate kidnapping and assault of woman
Police are investigating a report of a 21-year-old woman being kidnapped, driven around, and assaulted on Oahu.
The woman told police a 23-year-old man, who is an acquaintance, held her against her will as he drove her from location to location for about a half hour about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. She said while she was being held, the man assaulted her with a blunt instrument. She was eventually released.
Police said the man is still at large and have opened a kidnapping and assault case.
