A 27-year-old man has been charged with threatened his wife with a kitchen knife and making death threats to her during an argument Tuesday in Mililani, police said.

The couple was arguing over property when the man assaulted the 35-year-old woman, brandished the knife and threatened her about 6 a.m., police said. 

Officers arrested the man about two hours later for investigation of first-degree terroristic threatening and abuse. He was later charged with the two offenses, and his bail was set at $11,000.
