A 44-year-old Salt Lake man will be arraigned Monday in Circuit Court on charges that he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl.
An Oahu grand jury indicted Kenen Kenep on Tuesday on two counts of first-degree sexual assault.
Kenep’s bail remains at $30,000, and he is being held at the Oahu Community Correctional Facility.
Kenep allegedly entered the girl’s bedroom about 8 a.m. June 18 while she was asleep in a Salt Lake apartment and sexually assaulted her while her mother was not at home.
Police arrested Kenep June 20.
