Kamaaina company Heide & Cook Ltd. has been acquired by Hawaii HVAC LLC following the purchase of nearly all Heide & Cook’s assets.

Hawaii HVAC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chugach Commercial Holdings Inc., based in Alaska.

As part of the transaction Hawaii HVAC changed its name to Heide & Cook LLC. Earle Matsuda has been retained as president.

The former Heide & Cook Ltd., established in 1950, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in February and sought a buyer. The sale was approved by U.S. Bankruptcy Court in May. The transaction was completed Monday.
