A woman suffered minor injuries after being hit by a police patrol car early Monday in Pearl City.

The woman was apparently involved in some kind of a dispute and was chasing someone across Waimano Home Road when she was hit, police said. 

The woman, whose age was not given, was treated and released from an area hospital.

Police said the incident happened about 2 a.m., when the woman ran across Waimano Home Road, from Pacheco Neighborhood Park toward the Pearl City Shopping Center.

She was not in a crosswalk, police said.
