Police arrest suspect in fatal Kapalama bar fight
Honolulu police arrested a man wanted in connection with the death of another man in a fight early Sunday outside Da Kine Sports Bar in Kapalama.
Tevita Aholelei, 21, turned himself in at the main police station Tuesday at 5:10 p.m., police said.
Police said Aholelei hit the victim outside the bar at 545 Kaaahi St., causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the pavement about 2:05 a.m.
The victim was taken by ambulance to the Queen’s Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
