Crash briefly closes highway at Sandy Beach
Police briefly closed Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Sandy Beach and Makapuu because of a car crash Thursday night.
The accident happened about 9:15 p.m. and police closed the road so that tow trucks could remove the vehicles. Ambulances were called, but the injuries were not major.
