Oahu’s single-family home market eked out a gain in the median price and number of sales in November, according to a report released today by the Honolulu Board of Realtors.

The condominium market produced a more modest sales gain, though the median price fell by the same measure.

There were 251 single-family home sales last month, or three more sales representing a 1.2 percent increase over 248 sales in the same month last year. The median price was $580,000, up 1 percent from $574,500 in the same period.

Condo sales rose 5.4 percent to 333 units last month from 316 a year earlier. The median price was down 5.4 percent to $295,000 from $312,000.
