Nine chefs from Hawaii’s popular and award-winning restaurants will share recipes and show how to execute them at the Made in Hawaii festival this weekend at Blaisdell Arena.

The festival is teaming with the Hawaii State Department of Agriculture’s “Buy Local, It Matters” program to present the cooking demonstrations, which will promote local produce. Derek Kurisu of KTA Super Stores will serve as emcee.
The fest features more than 430 booths showcasing apparel, jewelry, books, crafts, artwork, beauty products and food. Entertainment includes Hoku-winning artists.
