Man arrested in Nuuanu assault
A 41-year-old man man was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal property damage following an incident at a Nuuanu home on May 25.
Police said that an argument between two men escalated and the suspect, of a Nuuanu Pali Drive address, struck another man, 54, resulting in undisclosed physical injuries. The suspect also threw the victim’s cell phone to the ground, breaking it, police said.
The suspect was identified and arrested Tuesday afternoon.
