» Ala Moana Center presents the Fourth of July Spectacular on Monday, featuring Melveen Leed at 12:15 p.m. and Mailani at 2:15 on Centerstage; Parking Deck concert starts at 5 p.m. with the Royal Hawaiian Band, Makaha Sons, Hoku Zuttermeister, Nesian N.I.N.E and Henry Kapono; fireworks display at 8:30 p.m. Tune in to KRTR 96.3 for the live fireworks soundtrack. » Schofield Barracks kicks off its holiday events with a 5K run at 8 a.m. and a children’s 1-mile run at 9 a.m. Monday. Highlights include games and rides from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; a military working dog demonstration at 11:30 a.m.; mechanical bull riding from 3 to 7 p.m.; and a Mad Science show at noon. Live entertainment will be provided from 2:30 to 8:30 p.m., with performances by Rebel Souljahz, Natural Vibrations and the 25th Home Front Brass. » Hickam Harbor hosts festivities for military families starting at 11 a.m. Monday, with a fireworks show at 8:30 p.m. and concerts by Delayed Resistance at 12:30 p.m.; Plain White T’s at 4:30 p.m. and Kings of Spade at 7 p.m. Events at Ward Field at Pearl Harbor will be held from 2 to 9:30 p.m. Concerts include the Art of Whimsy at 5 p.m., Plain White T’s at 8 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m. Military identification required. » Turtle Bay Resort festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. on the west-end lawn and include entertainment by Kapena and Kaala Boys, arts and crafts, keiki bouncers and food booths. Fireworks begins at 8 p.m. Free admission and parking. Call 293-6000.

» Waianae is the site of a Fourth of July Celebration at Maili Beach Park that runs today through Monday, noon to 10 p.m. There will be entertainment, food booths, a marketplace, a classic truck display, a custom golf cart show and keiki rides and games. Admission is free. No alcoholic beverages, coolers, tents, open fires or barbeques allowed. Fireworks display at dusk Monday.

» The Kailua Chamber of Commerce presents the 65th annual Independence Day Parade at 10 a.m. Monday, with the procession traveling south along Kainalu Drive from Palapu Street to Kailua Intermediate School. This year’s theme is "Of Thee I Sing." Call 266-2672 or 261-2727.
