Men charged with vandalizing a Hilo school
Big Island police charged two 20-year-old Hilo men Wednesday for allegedly causing more than $2,000 worth of graffiti damage to a Hilo school campus.
Dezmond Marquise Bonaparte and Robert S. Lindbergh were charged with second-degree criminal property damage after allegedly spraying and writing graffiti 12:42 a.m. Tuesday on various buildings and fixtures at Hilo High School, police said.
Police said the two were quickly identified as possible suspects.
Bail was set at $2,000 for each of the men.
